The Installation Process
Whether your a property owner or a contractor, we’ll make sure we communicate and guide you through the whole process. Below are the typical steps involved in the solar system installation process.
We’ll help you decide which energy saving and backup power measures your family needs. Our energy consultant will give you the information you need to feel confident in your decision to get the process started.
In many cases, we’ll send a professional survey specialist to your home a few days after your initial decision. We’ll take measurements and pictures to make sure your system is designed right.
Engineering and Permit
We’ll make sure your system is designed to meet your needs and to meet all applicable codes by a professional engineer.
The engineered plans will be submitted for permit approval to the appropriate municipality.
Solar Panel Installation
Your solar system is installed and commissioned. Most installations take a day. Once complete, we’ll give you the information needed for you to get PTO from your utility company.
Permission to Operate
We’ll give you the info you need for your Interconnection (aka Net Metering) Application. The application is required by your utility. Once they receive it, they will give you Permission to Operate (PTO).
